Today, the world of the cults is more and more expanding. There are so many people who turned into life gurus or people who are promoting their cultic philosophy in order to entice people to join their group. If you have ever asked why these cults have been very successful in recruiting and making their population grow, then this article will answer those confusions. Below, the reasons to why many people are encouraged and induce to be part of these cult groups will be discussed. Cults are religious groups that do not believe in the teachings of the bible. Therefore, in order to get people to their population, they focus on people personal lives. Especially those people with less knowledge on the teachings on the bible, they are deemed to be enticed by these group.
These cults are very wise in enticing to recruit people. They target those who have less or just have basic knowledge of the Bible. They invite these people to a “Bible Study.” What happens in this “Bible Study” is that they will distort what is in the Bible to get the teachings and principles into their favour. They do this in order to promote their religious leader.
The fact that a person has no or less knowledge on the Bible, then these cultists will make sure to entice them to the principles of their cults. When a cultist discovers that you have enough and you are a firm Christian then this cultist will not consider you as part of its recruitment effort.
Divorce, marriage, a new job, a death in the family, attending college for the first time are some the life changes we experience in life. When we are in the verge of a life transition, sometimes we feel like we need something to do make things stable. Because of the confusion of this life transition, cult finds these time a great season to their recruitment effort since at this point in time we are more vulnerable.
The cultist finds this time in a person life an opportunity entice them into their cult, what they do is to counsel them and focus on their personal lives. Once the cultist find that this person comes dependent in his advices, then the cultist takes this opportunity to involve this person to the cult himself. Since the person is very vulnerable at this time, he or she will have no chance to react and question since that he or she will also be very busy in doing the tasked duties and responsibilities of the cult.
